Dr. Masoud Azizad’s Blog

November 4, 2010

After graduating with honors from the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Masoud Azizad was accepted to the New York Medical College in Valhalla in 1995. Graduating in 1999, Dr. Masoud Azizad was one of fewer than 200 students accepted into the School of Medicine program. Competition for admission is highly competitive, with students representing some of the best and brightest from colleges and universities across the country. The prestigious university traces its roots back to the school’s founding in 1860, when it was established in New York City. The modern main campus, now located in Valhalla, provides a first-rate education in the health and medical sciences. It was in this environment that Dr. Masoud Azizad learned the standards of technical excellence in the medical profession, in addition to the values and ethics necessary for a physician to practice medicine with compassion and understanding. Cutting-edge research facilities and an internationally renowned program of regenerative medicine using cardiac stem cells are just some of the many superior features of the New York Medical College campus and program. From 2008 to 2010, Dr. Masoud Azizad operated as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. At present, Dr. Masoud Azizad oversees a private practice in Northridge, California. Dr. Masoud Azizad is also owner of the Daria Jade Salon and Medspa in Moorpark, California.
