Founded in 1860 by New York City’s civic leaders, New York Medical College has produced superior physicians for more than 150 years. In fact, the college’s founders sought in particular to produce high-quality doctors to help remedy the primitive conditions of hospitals at the time. While hospital conditions have improved significantly since the 1860s, the school remains dedicated to its original mission to train doctors competitive with those educated anywhere else. Today, the school has well over 12,000 living alumni, including California physician Dr. Masoud Azizad, whose work attests to the school’s high caliber.

Having graduated from New York Medical College in 1999, Dr. Masoud Azizad currently operates his own successful practice dedicated to internal medicine. He additionally owns a medical spa, the Daria Jade Salon and Medspa, where he does cosmetic work. He was the first physician in California to perform a novel liposuction and liposculpting technique with the Lipomatic VibroLipo.
